Huh? We're not talking about one guy agreeing with the views of EVERYONE on the forum...only TWO guys and in ONE instance..

lol. How can you compare the two? Can you really picture me having a beer with those two at any time? You're not that naive are you?

I'm glad quadro posted his opinions. It's refreshing to have a guy who has experience with both boards know the difference between myself and the previous owner "over there". I had a duty to his loyalty to acknowledge and defend his post, otherwise I would probably wouldn't have said anything.

They obviously have elected to not let the past go. That's their choice and it's ok with me.

You, along with any other member are entitled to your opinion and I will agree or disagree when I feel the need. I agree that your post didn't mean you are here to argue or cause trouble.

I know the past has been let go on several sites, why? Because the sites are gone and along with them all the threads and post too. Terry you can say pretty much anything here as I know you are a good guy and I like your opinion. I do think that there is still some bad blood that gets spilled from time to time between people and it all works out.

No Dan, You are not responsible for things in the past, BUT you are responsible now. The way things are run over there is the reason I left and came here. You and you alone have a chance to make it better so you should set the example, not let others do it.

Glenn has treated me well here and does not hold any grudges to me and I thank him for it.

Actually I was trying to keep things in more of a general perspective and not let it get personal. That's when things usually go south especially with a topic like this.

I feel it's always good to talk about whatever differences we may have. I think it's a good way to see from the other persons perspective and gain more of an understanding from each other. Thanks also for realizing I wasn't here to cause trouble.

For the record, I plan on reducing the amount of CRAP on TCS when I have the time for it. Right now I'm in the midst of a million things in life and don't have the time to properly dedicate to the site. I purchased it because I didn't want Brian (Punch) to sell it to someone that didn't care about the community.

I will not be tolerating a lot of what you guys are talking about TCS tolerating in the past. I don't want to get into specifics but TCS will be a bit cleaner than it is in the past.

With that said, I cannot patrol the site 24-7, nor can the other moderhaters. I assure you, I'll do my best to make it a fun, enjoyable place to go to goof around. TCS has been "successful" (however you define that term) due to it's relaxed nature. That's why people love it but that's also why some are upset.

I'm open for suggestions, I actually posted a link to a survey RE: TCS. That link is here:
            http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/XZ2DCJW

Feel free to give me your unbiased and anonymous comments. At this point, I am listening and taking in all of people's ideas. When that period is over (read: when I have time), I plan on making Crazy the new administrator and get things sorted out!!! JUST KIDDING. :rotfl:

            2012 Ford Mustang GT convertible

1971 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 454 Clone

            and others. :)

I filled out your survey one day last week. I'll give you KUDOS on your long term plan to clean it up at TCS. I agree with the concept of free speech, but I STRONGLY disagree with claiming free speech in order to say something racist. I've seen several users at TCS with racist comments (or insinuations) in their signatures and in their avatars. They may not be constantly saying racist things, but signatures are always visible. It's not like TCS is overrun by racists, there are really very few that are overtly racist, but that's all it takes to take down the reputation of an otherwise okay group of people (I'll use the example of the recent fundraising and support of one of your members who recently passed away from cancer). And, I personally don't think it's completely the role of the other users to squash that kind of thing. Ultimately, the buck stops with the proprietor. Enforcement should come from the top and very publicly.

Good luck Dan. I hope you're successful in turning that place into something a bit more respectable than it sometimes has been.

For the record, there seem to be more supporting than those against cleaning it up. Thanks for the feedback..

So that's the way it works, here this last year when you constantly berate me I was replying to you when I should have been bitching at Glenn.

Would be interesting to see happen. One of the biggest complaints in the past is how restrictive MNFB and MNGMP have been vs. TCS. If you do clean it up it might change the dynamics for the other sites as well.

The constitution is inherently racist as it has the 1st amendment, I won't even get into the 3/5ths law. I'm so mad at Barack Obama for allowing racism to take place in America.

We don't search anything as it causes to many seizures.

Well, I'm impressed by Dan and Tradbuilt's comments. Probably more logic regarding tcs than I've seen in quite awhile.

Here's my point...I agree that most at tcs aren't racist and the majority elect to ignore the handful of idiots who are there to spew the crud. Many are there just to hang out and be a part of the club, and rather than make waves, they just go along with the flow. Rather than waste their energy dealing with the confused few, they turn their heads and look the other way. Although I disagree with how they refuse to intervene, it doesn't make them bad people and I have no problem with them.

Yes, there are a few with whom I have a beef and one is with the previous owner. There were two paths he could have taken in regards to how I was treated. It could have been simple, but he chose to make it difficult. If he had just been civil and said we're all car guys, so let's put this stuff behind us, there may not be a TCO and we wouldn't be posting here today. But he had to do it his way and put his little power trip on. He thought his site was the only show in town and by making me unwelcome, I would just go away and be silenced. Boy was he wrong and oh how he underestimated me. lol My question to him?...has it been worth the price? I know I've had fun being an adversary.

Well, Bob saw the writing on the wall and as to how unreasonable the pencil neck weasel had been. He urged me to start TCO and was persistent enough to get it done. I frankly got tired of him bugging me about starting the site and figured I'd do it to get him off my back. The guy should be a salesman. He has kept the site small and manageable. True "car guys" are here and that's the way we want it.

Just to name a few...we have a few of the hardest charging street F-Bodies in the area if not the nation (speedo, waterbug1999 and ramairws6). Tradbuilt with his wisdom, Hotcivic who is known on sites such as LS2.com, Torkflight is probably the best fabricator and car builder in the state, Mr.hp is known for making power with less $$ than anyone I've known and has demoralized many big dollar competitors, quickerthanyou has taken a dragster down the 1/4 mile into the 5's, titan5 has one of the sweetest 55's out there, jollywrencher with his musclecars has contributed, a Typhoon that has run consistent 12.8s without headers and with the stock pea-shooter turbo, and of course two cars you won't find featured on tcs...yours truly with an overachieving SS Camaro that has run 11.8s n/a with dr's....the red car tcsrs love to hate and last but not least a '71 SS-454 Chevelle that has won 1st place a number of times and top 10 representing BIR in division bracket finals.

Sorry if I've missed anyone. I appreciate anyone who stops by TCO to hang out and enjoy what we do here.
