  • Who all here has an LSX?

So who all here has an lsx?

Have you guys heard of the LSX shootout?

Well this year it's going to be at Gateway International Raceway in Madison Ill, right across the river from St. Louis, MO. You can see the Gateway Arch from the race track off the the west of it.

I'm going to race in the true street class.

Its only 8 hr drive from apple valley to my brothers house in Florissant Mo, and then from Florissant to the track is maybe 30 min tops.

Here is where you can fine some more info.

I got that whole week off so I might be going down the weekend before just to hage with the bro till race day comes.

Oct 7,8, and 9th I thought. That true street stuff sounds fun, I can't imagine the rush on the 30 mile cruise with all those cars. Prob won't do much racing around here this year so save money for that event.

Yea I took the week off as well and am planning taking the RV not sure where there is a good place to camp on the east side of St. Louis thou.

This is the class I will be running, prob use my 11.0 tune.

True Street Challenge – The name says it…this class is for “true” street cars. Take your licensed, insured vehicle on a 30-mile, police-escorted cruise and then make 3 back-to-back passes down the track. The closest average to 9,10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 seconds all win money and an award! All Showdown and Truck & SUV class racers can have a free entry into True Street on Saturday of the event. $500 to Win + Bonus Prize from GM Performance Parts!

Ahhhhh, the Arches..........went there back in '94' and it was pretty fun. Went up in the stainless steele arch and you could see the baseball game going on in the stadium down below. It was pretty awesome!
