Spent some time with her on Saturday and all day on Sunday watching the NASCAR race...

She hasn't improved any but hasn't gotten worse either I think... Hopefully this 3rd week of chemo and hopefully will be the upswing for her so she can starting eating again. Shes getting really tired of being there, so anyone who wants to stop in for a little bit and give her some encouraging words would help. Thanks

little update:

The x-ray shows good signs that her track is opening up. She will go thru some steps and see how her body will react and im guessing start trying real food. So, lets keep our fingers crossed.. yes, GO RAQ!

That's good news. It's a good thing you talked her into continuing treatment.

I was down there last week but didn't go farther than the nurse's station because I had a cold. Just gave the card and contents to them and they said they'd make sure she got it.

Looks like I will have to miss this, That's my Son's Birthday and we will be having his party from noon on.

A little update.. She is finally able to tear up some food, but in small amounts. She is moving around more and even taking short walks. Se has greatly improved from where she was 3-4 weeks ago, there are even talks about letting her go home next week possibly.

Talked to her mom, she says they are letting her go home tomorrow, im sure she cant wait.

We all had a good time.. I dont know how much was raised, Raquel was able to sneak out of the hospital and someone brought a lazy boy for her to sit on. Here is a pic we took.
