I like both of 'em. I think the 'Camino is cooler; however, the wagon would be more useful to me.
The wagon would carry my RC aircraft & still be fun to drive. I'd want mine with Buick's direct-injected 3.6L V6. Turbocharged, of course! Add a 6 or 7-speed 'manumatic', and a viscous-coupled posi rear end. I'd be a happy camper. I'd also think about an AWD version, provided it didn't screw up the handling too much....
My GTP will be my last 'wrong-wheel-drive' ride. I've had enough understeer to last me a lifetime! My next dd will be something that can carry my RC stuff, yet still be fun to toss around the corners. I hope that GM comes out with something that meets my needs before I'm ready to replace the GTP.
How about a 'Nomad' version of the wagon? If done correctly, that would be very cool, I think....
I wonder why GM didn't come up with a sport wagon some time ago to compete with MOPAR, BMW, and others...
