coming from a guy who can't figure out that a 106 trap speed from a 406 sbc is weak. congrats! that has to be a national-record-slow-speed for a 406! pretty close to the hourglass nationals some guys have talked about in here. if i wasn't down in st louis, i'd stack my slow cobra against that pig of yours because you ain't runnin no 12.30s on the street and 106 means yor car is very beatable on the street. 106 for that car is a joke

When did I say 106 was fast and when did I say my car made a lot of power? I thought I'd have better mph, when it didn't I simply gave reasons as to why I think it didn't. When did I say 106 was fast and when did I say my car made a lot of power? I thought I'd have better mph, when it didn't I simply gave reasons as to why I think it didn't. Had I built it I would have done it different but it's common knowledge to anyone who knows anything about the car it's not exactly the hottest 406 ever built and no one is claiming it is.

i know you didn't buoild it and thats my whole point. it all started whe rerod chimed in and started defending it saying it was a cruiser and was in car craft and getting it in there is all that (like we give a shit) then you jump on us like we dont have a clue. in stead of defending what he built he should have stayed out of it because he doesn't have a clue on how to make a 406 go fast. cruiser yea right. but what do i know i only have a slow assed cobra wannabe.
then i feel like shit because evetrywhere i go i get my ass handed to me by ls1's then the ford guys say put a s/c on it and then i can hang. i don't want a stupid assed s/c and i'm sick of this sorry assed cobra i should have never bought it. then you say i paid too much and i'm slow. i feel like punching my fist through the wall.
