Les Paul dead at age 94

Guitar legend Les Paul died today at the age of 94. He was one of the best players around and without his inovations there would not be the music we have today. Les created the electric guitar and was the first to use multi-track recording. He will be missed, RIP Les.

Yes, he will be missed. He did more to advance the art than pretty much anyone before or since. He was still playing gigs when he was 90. Thanks to his inventions, I enjoyed a 25-year career in audio engineering, and have enjoyed 50 years (and counting) of listening to exquisitely-recorded music. Thanks, Les - RIP.
