500 bucks seems a little much to me for a new girlfriend. 6 months or less. Even under a year it's too much too expect. Don't have a problem with jewelry my has $5000 diamond ring and not wedding ring she had to put with me for 8 years when she bought that. But let's be realistic. I could afford a $500 dollar necklace right now but I she getting one nnnnoooo. Get her a less expensive one if you want and she complains ditch the bitch cause all she's looking for is shiny things.
