Well, Raquels (Rockin98 on the boards) surgery to remove the cancer on her colon is tomorrow. I hope that it didnt spread and this will be it. Keep her in your thoughts. Thanks.

Well, the surgery went great on Thursday the Dr. said... He said it appears that the cancer didnt spread to the intestinal wall.. They wont know for sure if it spread to the lymph noids until the tests come back later this week and that will determine if she is cancer free..

She made it back home Sunday evening and is doing well, just taking it easy as you can imagine.. Thanks guys.

Well guys, she got the phone call earlier today... The Dr said she will need Chemotherapy as it has spread. She will find out in more detail on the 8th.

Very sorry to hear that, but many survive. my father in-law had colon cancer of the worst kind and they said he might not live very long but the chemo worked and he has been cancer free for over 5 years. Plus i made it back from melanoma skin cancer, so heads up and keep the faith, all will be fine....... joe
