  • This is insane...

    http://www.moyermade.com/chevyV8.html

This is almost beyond comprehension. Unbelievable. This man has talents bordering on the supernatural. This goes beyond what most of us can only dream about. And he did it all on a Bridgeport milling machine.
After viewing all of the pictures, be sure to catch both of the film clips of it actually running.

Over the years, I've seen a number of so-called "scale" V8 engines. Many of them had no pressurized oiling system & therefore used two-stroke fuel. Many of them also used glow-plugs instead of a Kettering ignition. This is one of the few I've seen that truly follows the scale approach. Making a scale Duntov cam for it is icing on the cake! I wonder if it idles as lumpy as the original. I didn't find the video clips - where are they located?

Also check out the 1/3-scale Bucket-T with the flathead V8 & his inline four. Note that the flathead's displacement is over 100 cc!

the video clips were at the bottom (youtube)

I just tried bringing the link up and it says service unavailable????

I tried it again and it works...hmmm...maybe it only allows a certain amout of people to view it at once?

There are no idle clips to hear the duntov 30/30 though...
