It was nice to see Dean at the BBQ as I BS'ed with him a couple of times and he looked to be in good spirits. After his accident some people would just say to hell with cars but he is already thinking of redoing the car after he heals up. Dean told me the the car ran in the high 5's in the 1/8 at the grove and that's hauling for a little flat top piston Small Block chev. No fancy stuff just raw Dean HP.

i was bs'ing with him as well and seemed to have a plan of attack to getting the thing fixed up. sounded like alot of work having to chop up the roof and basically the entire front. hopefully he can get it back together since that thing was sweet

Dean was telling me that when he built the car he added extra safety bars and it sure looked like it was a good idea. If I ever decide to put in a full cage I would not have a problem with either Dean or Torkflight doing the work.

I'm pretty sure I've seen the Vega at Grove. Nice car if it's the one I'm thinking of!!
