Really?? Define "DEEP" into the 13'S. The one i raced here barely got into the 13'S with a 75 SHOT of Juice. And before you tell me this guy doesnt know what he is doing, He also owns a Mid 8SEC Drag Radial Small block car.

I get the feeling from your first post here that you just wanted to take a shot at Typhoon because your feelings were hurt that he pointed out a modded Cobra ran low 14s. No need to get your panties in a bunch just because a fellow Ford owner had a bad day at the track.

The truth is that if your buddy barely cracked 13s with a 75 shot in his Typhoon, there was a big problem because there is plenty of documentation of Sy/Tys running low to mid 13s bone stock. www.syty.net is a great resource for proof. I have seen 13.3 and some reports of as low as 13.1s showfloor stock. Not hard to believe considering how hard the trucks can launch with someone who knows how to brake-boost.

Maybe there was a horrible DA the day that your buddy ran? Maybe there was something wrong with the truck? They've been known to have electrical gremlins. If neither was the case, the only other logical explanation would be excessive wheelspin, or a driver who didn't brake-boost correctly off the line. The truth is a high 13 on a stock Ty with a 75 shot is PATHETIC for what the truck is capable of. If you don't believe that, then you need to do some research and educate yourself before you spout off. Your posts in this thread show you're clearly out of your league here in terms of intelligent discourse. Posting a vid of your buddy's mid 8 second car running 9s during a discussion about stock Sy/Tys isn't going to cut it. Maybe you could invite your dad over to help you put together a post that makes sense. :lol: No offense there big guy.
