Yeah it was in serious need of a tune which Dig was able to work out. It was definitely a process but it's good to go. Now if I could just get rid of that stock intercooler...

Yeah that's no surprise. Dig is very well known, especially amongst the Buick boys.

I was up there for the meet but my visit was cut short because I snapped the stock propshaft on my very first pass. Guess I'd rather have that happen than pop the motor. Pretty disappointing to have the thing hung up all year and go out on your first pass and have it break. That's apart of the cards your delt when you get into modifying cars.

He's definitely the real deal. He stays booked year round every year. His time is definitely worth it if you've got the funds. What kinda car are you rolling?

The first thing i would suggest is ditching the commander chip and going with a maf-pro. Running a SD tune is by far the best way to go on these cars, and he pretty much designed the software you use for it. And yes, he is extremely good with a laptop

I think Typhoon means Interstate Dragways up in Moorhead, not Tri-State which is down in Iowa.

13.5 at 98mph. Is that definitive enough for you? Not too bad for a bonestock 4200lb brickhouse with 120k miles on it. Pump gas not race gas, cracked driver's side manifold and some slight vacuum problems as well. Since then the truck has ran 12.8 @ 104.

So because you've raced one Typhoon you know how they all run? And because that one particular Ty owner has an 8 second dragster he automatically knows Sy/Tys to a science?

I tell ya it doesn't matter who owns what vehicle or how big your buddy's dick is. If you don't know what you're doing with a vehicle that was only made for 2 years (and a limited ammount at that) you're going to run into troubles. Constantly. Sy/Ty's are one of the most (if not THE most) finicky vehicles to mess with out there. I'm sure superford can attest to that.

I love sy/tys theres no doubt about it. But, there are several guys out there who have all sorts of shit done to their trucks and can't get out of the 14's. Sorry to ruin your day but the one video that you have of a run with a Typhoon is not much of a surprise to me.

MY point being. 13.5 is a mid 13 NOT deep.. And why do you get so defensive? Are you like 21? WHen I read your post you seem young to me.

Secondly he doesnt do anything half ass, he knows his cars and if he doesnt he will pay someone who does. He has the funds to do so. ANd FYI he has a 8 second STREET CAR not a dragster.

                                It's definitely not high.

Did I say he did anything half-ass?
Did I say he wasn't capable of paying someone to do work for him?

I guess I don't know the point that you're attempting to make here.
