Bought it on Friday. 01 LQ4 with 70K miles. I was going to build an engine, but I am graduating in May and decided to save the money for bills, housing, etc. I will probably throw some rod bolts in it, and do an LS3/L92 top end. I already have the bare heads.

Yah, it should definitely make more power than my last setup. If it goes over 120 on motor I will be happy. I think it would have last time if I wouldn't have ran out of gear. Too bad the iron block adds another 80-100 lbs. For the price, I couldn't pass it up though.

I don't blame you one bit for going that route. ****en motors LS are not cheap
