looked something up here. last time at track. 9-22-07 1st 12.69, 2nd 11.53,3rd 12.06,4th 11.98 5th 11.79. and then gas cloud.

Ok Mr. Joe. I don't have the timeslips in front of me for the last time I went, but it was eliminations at CFR Porkys shootout. On an 11.96 dial; 11.98, 11.99, 11.97, then for the fiinal round, I changed the dial to 11.95 and ran 11.98. Could I have gotten a quicker ET out of it? Of course. But I was there for consistency. You might frown on those numbers as being slow, but not many guys anywhere are going to run that consistent with a 6 speed and without a line lock.

you are no doubt the best bracket racer i know...... not a joke. I listed times cuz i wanted to show that i got 3 out of 5 in the 11's. not consistant at all, but i did it. first pass was a 3rd gear tko 600 miss, not my fault by the way. nowi am a drag strip rookie. I have only gone to the track for 4 yrs, missed last 2yrs. I am not a 40 year old timer. so cut me some SLACK. also with all the bad tunes, fuel issues, maf issues to the max, and all the other problems and demons, it should be, gee joe thats pretty good considering all the problems you've had, but no, it's you suck, your car sucks, and you got 20 power adders. thanks to all my close buddys for their support! it is all a two faced attitude with you guys. It's ok for jr to have a turbo, cuz it's a GM. same for typhoon, and all the others. the new z/28 with a s/c is cool and you guys want one. But my old vortech with only 12 lbs. of boost is not ok???? c'mon dudes. open your minds and be fair huh???this type of attitude is why no one comes to this web site. a chev does 11.53 and it's wow great dude. a ford does 11.53 and it's thats some sorry shit dude. you have 2o power adders and thats all you can run. think on that for the winter...... shit half the time i have been lucky to go around the block and now my money pile is depleted. maybe some day with some more track time i'll get some consistancy and it will do better that high 11's or i'll sell it.

Hey Joe, you started this by criticizing my car and in return I pointed out that if I were you, I wouldn't talk. I thought this would a be a typical Car Smack friendly thread. Now you are all butthurt. If you dish it out then you should be able to take what comes back.

didn't know a roll cage was a power adder. times will be better with correct working parts. it not totally modified. some suspension parts, gears. 13lbs boost, not 25, not 30lbs, stock cams and heads?????? a tko???? not stock buts what the diff. between a t-56 not much?????no back seat????? big deal, cage added weight so i took alittle out. slicks??? anyone can use slicks all choice. people say dr's are the same as slicks.... a rib a little and you go hog wild...... why not do a little better, that ain't a cut down???
