I think I remember the car. If it is that car,it had a red and white barber pole style drive shaft. The shaft came flying out near the starting line at Minnesota,I think in 1972.Drag Racing,just you,me,and the tree!!Comment

I recently got a little more history on this car. In 1972 Rich Mahle bought it from Viking Chevrolet in Fridley. Until now I thought he was the original owner. I would sure like to find out who owned it before him and where it was bought new.
Another guy thought Frank Carlson owned the car or had something to do with it. Anybody know a Frank Carlson?
