  • Cabin Fever Sucks.

    Well the weather is getting a bit nicer out, hopefully we can start driving our cars soon. Here is my new motor on the dyno at R&R 3 weeks ago. It helps me with my cabin fever.



    6800RPM BASE LINE PULL.

                    Killer numbers Les, I think some people will be eating crow this year. If you can hook it my bet is 10.45@128mph N/A depending on how heavy the car is.

                        Thanks for the compliments. And no Auto for me. I am going to ROW this bitch!

                        Car went 128mph with old combo. Was 3395# with me in it and 5 gal of Fuel. Has started a serious diet routine as well. Blower alone was 70#. Will still have Power Windows and Locks, but it will be losing heater core, all the Fuel Injection harness, bumper supports will be lighter and I all ready have bought lighter wheels. I think I can get it to between 3100-3200 with me in it.

                        I wish I could post the dyno sheet. I have learned it doesnt take just alot of HP to ET, it takes acceleration. If you could see how fast this motor makes power and how long and flat the tork curve is, you would understand.

                          Pretty nice Les!! Best to have that on the motor dyno and skip all the BS with the wheel dyno.

                          Hope to see you out at the track this year We have a couple of trips planned...
