Here's another shot of the COPO's engine, plus some shots of the '70 Nova SS L-78 with the L-89 aluminum head option.

Here are a few shots of the Auburn. This one had a guaranteed top-end of 110 MPH, which was hauling ass back in those days. Interesting that the blower was made by Cummins.

Must be the collection I have heard about. My ex wife's former employer (a dentist and car collector) had told me he had seen Yenko's in the Warroad area several years ago. I recognize many of those cars and thought that 68 Yenko just recently went to Canada. Maybe not. I just saw he and his L89 Nova at the Car Craft Nats in St. Paul a few weeks ago. Nice collection. I am currently locating and buying several similar cars for a collector in the South East who is putting together a similar collection and is also driving all of them.

I expect that it is. There's nothing else like it up there. The owner & I have been friends since childhood. We were neighbors growing up, and our parents were close friends. Over the years, he developed quite the taste for rare iron. He's running out of room already! While I was there the other week, he showed me a preview of his next few subjects. They should be on display soon, if they're not already. I'll get some pics next time I go back home.

The Shed is definitely a must-see for any car buff. Especially those who appreciate extremely rare iron.

Only problem is, the only thing close to Warroad is Canada. LOL

You've got a point, there! But we do have some of the best walleye & muskie fishing in the 48 states, great hunting, thousands of miles of excellent snowmobile, ATV, and hiking trails, lots of well-maintained campgrounds & parks (even a huge park with hills, jumps, and water, that caters to off-road ATV & motorcross riders), 65,000 miles of shoreline, over 14,500 islands, many sandy beaches, and many top-notch resorts along the lakeshore & on the islands. That's usually enough to bring in quite a few folks each year.

You sound like a travel agent. LOL You do not have to convince me! :) I lived there for 41 years! Several mounts on my wall came from MN. Used to camp on Lake Vermillion twice a year for 5 days each. Best Walleye, small mouth and Pike fishing anywhere!

When & where did you live up there? My dad was the flying game warden in Warroad for 34 years. He retired in '84. I was born & raised there, and left when I joined the Navy in '75. I went back up there for a few years during the early 90s & again during the early 2000s. Can't make any money up there doing what I do, though. I plan to retire up there someday.

When I said "lived there" I meant MN. I lived in Spring Lake Park, Blaine and Lakeville (all suburbs of Mpls) over the last 41 years before I pulled up stakes and moved to the glorious (not!) state of Illinois. I spent most of my life in and around Duluth, Two Harbors, Tofte, Ely, etc, etc as I was majorly into hunting, camping, fishing and what ever else I go do up there that I could not do in Mpls plus I had lots of family in that area. To be honest, I'm not sure I have ever been in Warroad. If I have it was only once.

                              New pics & additions

Regarding the missing pics on the previous pages - I had 'em hosted on ImageShack. My account got screwed up & I lost access, so they were eventually deleted.

Here's The Shed's FB page. Lots of pics & some new additions:
