Last year my girlfriend replaced all the windows in her house with those expensive double-pane energy efficient kind.
Today, she got a call from the installation contractor, he was complaining that the work had been completed over year ago and he still hadn't been paid for them.
Hellloooo... she said to him,
Just because I'm blonde doesn't mean that I am automatically stupid.
He asked "What does that mean"?
So, she told him just what his fast talking sales guy had told her last year,
He said: "In "ONE YEAR" these windows will pay for themselves!"
Well, "It's been over a year!"
There was only silence at the other end of the line, so she just hung up the phone.
The contractor has never called back???...
