A friend who attended the Re-Rod benefit said CFR would probably have the 1/4 mile up and running soon.

CFR RETURNS TO QUARTER-MILE RACING
REPAIRS COMPLETED IN SHUTDOWN AREA

After the extreme flooding of the facility this past summer, Cedar Falls Raceway is now ready to return to quarter-mile action this weekend, Sept 26 & 27. "It's been a lot of work and we could have never got the work done without the help of the volunteers" said Dan Driscoll. "I know many people are looking forward the return of quarter-mile action" he concluded.

Cedar Falls Raceway will race quarter-mile for the balance of the season with the exception of the Terry Stumpf Memorial Race on Oct 4 & 5. That event will remain on the 1/8 mile format as previously released.

Well I am thinking of going for the Porkeys shoot out... So I will probably be heading down on the 10th already for the street night then stay over into the shootout.

If fastkeen gets my new trans done that will be the deciding factor.
